Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour ā 2 1/2 measuring cup of all purpose flour
Powdered Sugar – 1/4 measuring cup of sugar
Baking Soda – 1 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
Honey – as you like
Cinnamon Powder – as you like
ChocoChips – 1 – 2 cups
Raisins – as you like
Milk – 1/4 teacup
Buttermilk (chaach) – 1 teacup (preferably 1 day old)
How to make:
- Add flour and sugar in a bowl, gently mix (you can add an egg if you want to make it more soft)
- Add baking soda and baking powder
- Add butter 2 – 4 spoons of melted butter
- Add milk and buttermilk slowly while kneading the dough
- The dough should not be very sticky or tight
- spread the dough on flat slab and roll it into a flat thin rectangle
- Brush the flat dough with melted butter and honey
- Now sprinkle as much cinnamon you will like, add raisins and chocochips
- Fold the dough into a cylindrical shape and cut it into 8 pieces
- Bake the cut pieces for about 15 minutes
- Brush them with glaze and bake for another minute or 2
Prepare the baking tray
- Brush with melted butter
- Keep the cut pieces at 2 inch distance from each other
Prepare Oven
- PreHeat the oven at 180 C.
- Bake it for 15 – 20 minutes at 180 C keeping an eye.
- The cinnamon rolls should be brownish and soft.
